William Worsley, who lived through a turbulent period of English history, was elected Dean of St Paul’s Cathedral in 1478 and died, after a period spent in the Tower of London, in 1499. In this volume are published eight household accounts compiled by his receiver, Richard Radcliffe and also three estate accounts. As well as the index, there is an appendix providing biographical details of more than 200 people mentioned in the accounts.
